- Department of Veterans Affairs Denver Acquisition and Logistics Center Sources Sought Synopsis Project: Hoteling Services for Veteran Affairs Acquisition Academy Background: The Denver Acquisition and Logistics Center is conducting market research and seeking information from all interested vendors regarding the availability of Hoteling Space for Department of Veteran Affairs Acquisition Academy (VA) Information Requested: The Government is requesting that all SDVOSB vendors provide information regarding their capability to provide Hoteling space for VA Acquisition Academy Professionals. Objectives of the service include, but are not limited to: 1.Turn-key Hoteling Space for approximately 300 staff and student Interns, Monday through Friday to include phone services and utilities. This space must be in close enough proximity to the existing VA Acquisition Academy to enable a collaborative academic environment between various Academy schools (i.e. within walking distance). 2.Optional availability to increase staff by an additional 350 staff and Interns. 3.Kitchen/Break room facilities, i.e. refrigerators, microwaves, television to include cable services. 4.Conference and other rooms, mail room, reception area, space for copiers 5.Space must be handicapped accessible. 6.Vehicle parking sufficient to accommodate staff. 7.Services provided will need to include snow removal, housekeeping, inside and outside maintenance, mailroom and receptionist/service leader. 8.Separate Offices and open cubicle design. 9.A minimum of 8 state of the art computerized classrooms capable of accommodating 30 students and 1 to 2 instructors, with the ability to scale to 16 such classrooms. 10.Breakout spaces for small groups of 6-8 student Interns to work collaboratively on small group projects 11.T3 Line for Video taping and video teleconferences. 12.Connectivity to the VA Network, either through direct network drop or over sufficient Internet connectivity to allow VPN access for all students, staff and classrooms. The VA may utilize the responses to this Sources Sought to conduct additional market research. It is possible that the VA may invite respondents to attend an in-person question and answer meeting with VA officials. The information gathered will be used to more fully develop a requirement that would be properly completed. Information obtained from this RFI and the subsequent meetings with the vendors, if any, may be utilized to assist the VA in developing a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) or Request for Quote (RFQ). Vendors should also provide supporting documentation that describes past projects that are similar in scope and addresses prior experience in Hoteling requirements with the VA. Specific Questions to be Addressed: All questions listed below must be answered completely. 1.What is your organization's experience in providing Hoteling services for the Federal Government? 2.Specifically, what is your organization's experience in providing Hoteling services for the VA? 3.Respondents Qualifications a. Respondents should have at least three (3) years experience in providing these services. b. Respondents should indicate what relevant current contracts to include primary contact that they currently hold. Responses: Responses should be single-spaced, 12 point-font, with numbered pages and should not exceed 20 pages in length, including cover page, appendices, tables and figures. Responses should use the following subject heading: "VAAA Hoteling Services. Electronic submissions shall be in either Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF format. Submissions must be properly marked. Dates: Responses must be submitted to the Department of Veterans Affairs, Denver Acquisition and Logistics Center, on or before 12PM (noon) Mountain Time on June 28, 2013. Vendors shall identify any proprietary information in their responses. Proprietary materials will neither be distributed to nor discussed with any other vendor. The use of information submitted to the Government as a result of this RFI will be at the discretion of the Government. The information obtained from responses to this RFI will remain confidential insofar as permitted by law, including the Freedom of Information and Privacy Acts. The Government is not obligated to provide comments to vendor submissions. The Government will not pay for information solicited and will not recognize or reimburse any costs associated with any RFI submission. Therefore, the Government recommends vendors submit electronic versions of, or web links to, previously prepared presentations, documentation, white papers, and other relevant information.
