This Sources Sought Notice is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered as an invitation for bid, request for quotation, request for proposal, or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. Your response to this Sources Sought Notice will be treated as information only. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of contractor submission of responses to this announcement or the Government use of such information. This request does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract. No funds have been authorized, appropriated, or received for this effort. The information provided may be used by the Department of Veterans Affairs in developing its acquisition approach, statement of work/statement of objectives and performance specifications. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this Sources Sought Notice or to otherwise pay for the information submitted in response to this Sources Sought Notice The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential offerors capable of performing periodic maintenance and calibration of Integra Lifesciences' CUSA Excel Ultrasonic Tissue Ablation System located at the Syracuse VA Medical Center 800 Irving Ave. Syracuse NY 13210. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. NAICS 811219, Size Standard $19 million. Additional Requirements: " Provide documentation that service personnel are trained to service equipment All vendors who are interested must have an active Cage Code Number, and registered in ORCA (Representations and Certifications). Responses to this Sources Sought Notice should be able to demonstrate the firm's ability, capability, and responsibility to delivery the components listed above. Responses should include the following information: Business name, address, business size and Socioeconomic Category (HUBZone, 8(a), Service Disabled Veteran, Small Business, Large Business, etc.), and point of contact to include e-mail address and telephone number. All information is to be submitted via e-mail at michael.spivack@va.gov.
