- Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Jacksonville, Florida is soliciting proposals for a Just-in-Time requirements contract for enamel and fire retardant paint, and paint thinner where the product shall meet Military Specification DOD-E-24607A(SH) dated 11 Sep 2006, and requirement for Critical Coating Paints; Dura Plate High Solid Epoxy Paint (QPL-23236), Epoxy Coating (QPL-24441), Fast Clad (QPL-23236) and Anti-Corrosive Epoxy (QPL-24647). Supplier shall have ample materials on-hand for delivery within 24 hour notice. The Government will provide a quarterly quantity forecast. Product shall meet applicable MIL-SPECs. The procurement will be conducted utilizing simplified acquisition procedures in FAR Part 13 in conjunction with commercial item test procedures of FAR Part 12. Request for proposal will be issued on or about 27 June 2013. Intended award will be a firm fixed-price requirements contract for a base year with four one-year option periods. NAICS Code 325510, size standard 500 employees. Unrestricted procurement. Single award. FOB Destination to Trident Refit Facility, Naval Submarine Base, Kings Bay, AG.
