Waxahachie Crek Park1 Waxahachie Creek Park Map2 RFQ-Bardwell Non-Profit Cooperative Lease Mott Park Map1 Mott Park Map2 Love Park Map1 Love Park Map2 High View Park Map Div. of Responsibilities PROJECT: U.S. Army, Corps of Engineers desires to manage Recreation and Natural Resources with a Non-Profit 501(c)(3) Organization for the Cooperative Joint Management of Waxahachie Creek, High View Park, Mott Park and Love Park at Bardwell Lake located in Ellis County, Texas, about 1.5 hour southeast of Fort Worth, Texas. Minimum Non-Profit Requirements that will be required and reviewed within your submission: 1. Must be a Non-Profit 501(c)(3), 2. Has, or willing to add, within your Non-Profit Organization BYLAWS, identified: a. support of the Corps, their missions, and programs, b. support of the Corps in the operation, management, and development of recreation/natural resources facilities/areas, c. support Corps mission through interpretive/educational or scientific programs/activities. 3. Applicant must be willing and able to work with the Corps to determine Cooperative Joint Management goals before recreation and/or resource management plans are implemented. 4. Be willing to enter into a Corps of Engineers Cooperative Agreement and Cooperative Association Lease -"Division of Responsibilities", draft of each is attached. Note: All monies received by the Non-Profit Lessee from operations conducted on the leased premises must be utilized by the Lessee for the administration, maintenance, operation and development of the leased premises. The Corps is issuing this RFQ to obtain information about the experience and financial capability of Non-Profit entities seeking to provide Cooperative Joint Management of Corps missions including recreation, natural resource management, and interpretative/educational programs/activities at Bardwell Lake, Texas. This RFQ solicits information concerning the Submitter's: 1. Executive Summary, 2. Capability/Qualifications concerning recreation, natural resource management, and interpretative/educational programs/activities, 3. Relevant Experience/Past and Present Performance in recreation, natural resource, and interpretative/educational programs/management, 4. Financial Capacity/Capability, 5.
