- NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound, in support of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (PSNS), intends to solicit a firm fixed price contract to be negotiated on a sole source basis with Dresser Rand per FAR 6.302 for services to repair/modify Main Engine HP Turbine. This will include any production, engineering, consultation, troubleshooting and technical support services required. This requirement will be solicited using commercial, simplified procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13.5. Interested parties/persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to offer due date, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website https://www.neco.navy.mil The solicitation will be issued on or about 25 June 2013 with a closing date on or about 10 July 2013. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that website for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. Offerors must also be registered in the Systems for Awards Management Database (SAM) in order to participate in this procurement at https://www.sam.gov.
