The Department of the Air Force intends to issue a sole source contract modification to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation to develop a Maintenance Manual (MM) Technical Order (TO) for the DRC system. This modification is an in-scope change to an existing contract and it is not prudent to break out this effort and compete it due to the esoteric nature of the DRC program. This synopsis does not constitute an Invitation for Bids (IFB) or a Request for Proposals (RFP) nor does its issuance restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice nor will it reimburse firms for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice.
