Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 11, in accordance with FAR 6.302.1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Electrical Geodesics, Inc., 1600 Millrace Drive, Suite 200, Eugene, OR, 97403, for a 128 Channel Routine Clinical GES 3000 Package EEG machine to be used at the Aleda E. Lutz VAMC. NAICS 334510 applies. The Contractor shall provide all necessary equipment, supplies, and 12 month extended warranty for the Aleda E. Lutz VAMC, PALMS Department, 1500 Weiss Street, Saginaw, MI 48602. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 3:00 pm on June 18, 2013. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. All responses must be emailed to Bruce Frierson at bruce.frierson@va.gov.
