- In accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy 3.2.2.3.1.2.1 “ the purpose of this SIR is to obtain information, which will ultimately allow the FAA to identify an Offeror that provides the best value, make a selection decision and award a contract. The FAA Eastern Service Area, Georgia Acquisition Office, has a new janitorial services contract at the Southwest Regional International Airport Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) and Page Field ATCT FT Myers, Florida. This is a firm, fixed price (FFP) set-aside procurement for SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS within 150 mile radius of the Southwest Regional International Airport ATCT Fort Myers, Florida. The Principal North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) size standard code for this requirement is 561720, Janitorial Services with a small business size standard of $16.5 million average annual receipts over the past 3 fiscal years. The estimated effective date is on or about August 1, 2013 for a period of one (1) (two-month) base period with two (2) one-year options. The total estimated contract value is between $75,000 and $90,000. A walk-thru is scheduled for Monday June 24, 2013 at 1:00 PM EST. Due to security reasons, no other dates are available. Interested Offers must contact, Nadia Shash, Contracting Officer via email at nadia.shash@faa.gov by Thursday June 20, 2013 4:00 PM EST in order to make arrangements for the visit. It is Imperative for Offers to attend in order to assure a full understanding of the requirement. Attendees must have a Government issued ID. FAA reserves the right to communicate with one or more Offerors at any time during the procurement process. The Offeror may begin submitting questions and comments immediately after release of the RFO/SIR and up to June 26, 2013 2:00 PM EST. Responses to questions will not necessarily change the date proposals are to be received. Offerors must submit all questions via e-mail (nadia.shash@faa.gov); however, they must not be submitted via phone call. The FAA will respond in writing within seven (7) working days on the FAA Contract Opportunities website to all potential Offerors. Questions and answers that clarify SIR details may be provided to all Offerors; however, the source of questions will not be identified. Questions received after the time and date stated above may not be answered. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS In order to be considered responsive, organizations expressing interest in this matter must provide the following: (a)Cover letter stating that no exceptions are taken to any specification requirements or Contract terms and conditions, or a detailed summary of all exceptions taken.
