- The Syracuse VA Medical Center located at 800 Irving Ave Syracuse, NY 13210, intends to release a solicitation for BLDG 16 SITEWORK. The contractor shall provide all parts, labor, tools, materials and supervision necessary to complete extensive exterior landscaping which shall consist of a full range of site work to include but not limited to the following tasks: Complete re-paving and re-striping of lot 4 (surrounds front of building 16) in accordance with drawings, installation of an electronic card reader gate entry system, installation of new granite curbing and sidewalks as shown on site plan drawings, installation of vegetation, topsoil and general landscaping tasks, installation of a perimeter fence, reconfiguration and installation of a complete coordinated site drainage system utilizing existing site drainage utilities and adding new, new exterior building lighting, painting and relocation of existing exterior utility lines on and around building 16.. This construction project is 100% Total Set-Aside for Service-Disabled Veterans-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this project is 236220, with a Small Business Size Standard of $33.5 Million. Offers from other than service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns will not be considered and shall be rejected. The offeror must be registered in System For Award Management (SAM) and listed as a CERTIFIED VETERAN ENTERPRISE and be VERIFIED in the VetBiz database under the applicable NAICS. Firms may obtain SAMs at https://www.sam.gov/ and VetBiz information at http://vip.vetbiz.gov. The estimated magnitude of this construction project is: Between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Payment and Performance Bonds ARE required. A 20% Bid Bond IS required and must be submitted with the response. PERFORMANCE: The estimated performance period for completion of construction 120 days. Unless additional notice is given or this notice is modified, the full solicitation will be posted to the Government-wide Point of Entry (www.fbo.gov). This is a pre-solicitation notice synopsizing an upcoming competitive solicitation satisfying the requirements of FAR 5.201 and 5.203
