Description

The Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics San Diego is seeking potential vendors which can provide Industrial washer, dryer, iron and press machine maintenance services for the NAVCONBRIG MIRAMAR, CA. The anticipated award will be made for services and supplies with one base year and two one year option periods. The vendor is required to perform preventive maintenance on all washers, dryers, iron and press machines and repair equipment as needed. Repairs shall be performed and completed to manufacture specifications by certified service technicians. NOTE: Previously solicitation number N00244-13-T-0154 using NACIS 812320 was used for this requirement. A new reference solicitation number N00244-13-T-0163 applies to this source sought NOTCE along with a revised NAICS code 811310. The Government intention is to compete the requirement on an unrestricted basis. However, the purpose of this sources sought is to canvas the market place to determine if there is sufficient small businesses who are capable and intend to compete for this upcoming requirement. The applicable NAICS Code is 811310 Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) repair and maintenance the threshold established by the Small Business Administration is $7M in annual revenues or less. A Statement of Work is attached for potential interested vendors to review. The Government request for interested vendors to submit a Capability Statement not more than 4 pages addressing past experience and certified training with the type of work described in the statement of work. The capability statement must reference solicitation number N00244-13-T-0163, cage code number, and clearly indicate the Socio Economic Small Business status of the respondant such as HUBZONE, Women Owned, 8(a), Service Disabled Veteran and Small Businesses. Large Businesses are also invited to participate. All interested businesses shall submit responses via electronic email only to Ms. Juana Perez, Contracting Specialist at juana.perez@navy.mil. Questions prior to the closing date and time may be addressed effort will be made to respond to all questions received however, questions received during the last day may not allow ample time to reply. Responses shall be received electronically via email no later than the last day as indicated in this notice. This announcement closes at 05:00 p.m. (PST) on June 21, 2013. Late responses will not be considered. This Sources Sought is for informational purposes only. This is not a request for proposals. It does constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. Responses in any form are not offers and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement. No funds are available to pay for preparation of responses to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this technical description is strictly voluntary
