Description

UPDATE 6-17-2013: Final protocol for contractor questions. B005. Solicitation Questions: All contractors proposing this project desiring an interpretation or clarification of the specifications, drawings, contract terms and conditions, etc., must make the request by e-mail to Gary Yount at gary.yount@faa.gov. Alternately, you may fax your written questions to (425) 227-1055. Telephone questions will not be accepted. The requestor shall provide a company name, point-of-contact name, address and telephone number; as well as a return e-mail address or FAX number. The Contracting Officer is the only person authorized to make clarifications, interpretations, or changes to this solicitation. QUESTIONS ARE DUE by: June 26, 2013 at 12:00 PM PACIFIC Time. UPDATE 6-03-2013: Firm details of the optional site visit are posted just below, as well as other important, tentative solicitation dates. - Questions due from potential offerors: June 26, 2013 - Offers due: July 11, 2013 B006. Site Visit. There is an OPTIONAL site visit on June 19, 2013 at 9:00 AM Local Time. a. Instructions for attending. 1) Meet at dirt parking lot just north of Gate G4, address: 9900 Queensburg Street, Denver, Colorado. Directions: From Tower Road/ Pena Blvd., proceed north 2.5 miles on Tower Road. Turn right (east) on 96th Avenue which turns into Quency St and then E. 114th Avenue. After approximately 6.9 miles, turn right on Queensburg Street and proceed south 2.1 miles to Gate G4. 2) All attendees must have driver �s license. 3) NO photos allowed. NO cell phones during tour. 4) Site visit will last approximately 3.5 hours. b. The FAA facility escort has been instructed not to answer any questions about the project during the site visit, please do not ask them any. All questions from the site visit must be submitted in writing according to the RFO �s instructions in Section B, Clause B005 Solicitation Questions (above). The FAA assumes no responsibility for any conclusions or interpretations made by the contractor based on the information received by any means other than in writing from the Contracting Officer. The FAA does not assume responsibility for any understanding reached or representation made concerning conditions, which can affect the work, by any of its officers or agents before the execution of this contract, unless that understanding or representation is expressly stated in the contract. c. To attend the site visit, advance notice by e-mail is required by June 13, 2013 at 5:00 PM PACIFIC Time to deb.lawrence@faa.gov. You are required to provide legal name, date of birth, driver �s license number and cell phone number for all attendees. Open ONLY to potential bidders and their subcontractors, limited to three people per bidder. NO sales reps or suppliers. UPDATE 5/28/2013: This update corrects the project title from "Construct Comm Ductbank Denver IAP, CO" to "Fiber Optics Project Denver IAP, CO". This project does not entail construction of a communications ductbank. The project documents posted for download below are the same PDF files originally posted on 5/22/2013, but their e-file names have also now been corrected. Additional project documents will follow in the next few days.
