Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. National Security Technologies is seeking sources to provide all required services to perform Geophysical Well Logging, Data Interpretation, and Cement/Gravel Pack Logging/Monitoring using wireline hoisted logging tools (sondes) in wells or boreholes either existing or to be drilled on, adjacent to, or near the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS) for multiple projects. The general area of operations will be within a radius of approximately 100 miles from the security gate entrance to the NNSS. The security gate entrance to the NNSS is approximately 65 miles northwest of Las Vegas, Nevada. Total depth of the wells will vary and will range from approximately 30 feet to over 5,000 feet from ground surface. Logging services may be run in various size open boreholes from approximately 3" to over 36" diameter and in pipe from approximately 1.6" I.D. tubing to 12" I.D. casing. Boreholes may be vertical or angled. It is currently anticipated that Notice to Proceed for the first Task Order will be issued during the Fall of 2013 after September 30. It is anticipated that the subcontract will involve 1 to 3 call-outs per well or group of wells either previously drilled and/or in process of being drilled. For the wells to be drilled, these wells will be drilled intermittently, with interruptions in operations between wells. NSTec will be soliciting for a 5 year, task order, services subcontract for logging/monitoring existing wells and wells to be drilled. At this time the number of wells to be drilled and logged/monitored per year is unknown and may vary from year to year. To receive a copy of the RFP, interested parties must contact Gary Morrison via email at morrisgl@nv.doe.gov with your contact information and with a statement that you can provide all equipment and services for this work.
