Aviation Blvd., Suite 1467-A8, El Segundo, CA, 90245- 2808 Subject: Network Support Services Proposed Solicitation Number: N/A Closing Response Date: 03 July 2013 Contracting Officer: Mr. Herbert Countee, SMC/PKE, (310) 653-6178 Contract Award: N/A Contract Award Dollar Amount: N/A Contractor: Harris IT Services Corporation, 21000 Atlantic Blvd., Suite 300, Dulles, VA 20166 Description The Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) 61 st Communications Squadron (CS), intends to issue a sole-source extension for the current Network Support Services contract by 12 months (3 month base with three - 3 month options) via modification to delivery order FA8771-04-D-0003/MG06; it was awarded as a competitive Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract on a NETCENTS contract. The current period of performance will be extended to cover the period from 1 September 2013 to 31 August 2014. The modification will be issued to General Dynamics Information Technology, 44A Street, Needham, MA 02494-2806. Classification code, identified at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/, applies. In accordance with AFI33-112 Section 14.2 published 7 Jan 2011, NETCENTS contracts are mandatory source for purchasing netcentric and information technology products and solution that fall under the scope of the NETCENTS contract requirements. The task order against NETCENTS will not be awarded for LAAFB until 1 September 2013. The current Network Support Services contract with Harris IT Services Corporation provides network control center, information assurance program, network configuration management, consolidated Video teleconferencing (VTC), and Help desk services. The Contractor provides technology refresher for all IT equipment for Los Angeles Air Force Base (LAAFB), Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC), and other personnel assigned to Fort MacArthur, Aerospace complex, D10, S30, Center (SMC), and nine remote Operating Locations (OL). Also, the contractor provides direct support for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Data Center and Satellite Data Analyses Center, Infrared Space Systems (IS) Scientific Engineering Research Facility (SERF), and Contracting (PK) ConWrite and the medical squadron's unique applications. A 12-month extension to the current Network Support Services contract will be executed to align with the expiration of the 61st Communications Squadron (61 CS) to consolidate all Information Technology Service efforts under one contract using the General Services Administration (GSA) Government-wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC). All responsible sources may submit a statement of capabilities (SOC), which will be considered, demonstrating knowledge of Network Support Services requirement. The SOC must include the following information: 1) Company name, mailing address, points of contact and telephone numbers; 2) Business size classification (large, small, or other); 3) Experience; and 4) Ability to satisfy the government's performance and schedule requirements described above. Proprietary information must be expressly identified in the SOC. The SOC shall not exceed 20 one-sided pages in length. All responses must conform to 8.5 by 11.0 inch pages, with font no smaller than 12 point. This notice is for information purposes only; it does not constitute an RFP. Information contained herein is based on the best information available at the time of publication, is subject to revision, and is not binding on the Government. Any information submitted in response to this synopsis is strictly voluntary. The Government will not recognize any cost associated with submission of a SOC or information. Interested Contractors must submit the unclassified Statement of Capability (SOC) by 5:00 pm (Pacific) on 03 July 2013.
