Description

The National Park Service has identified a requirement for the Design-Build to replace the existing water-source heat pumps and associated waterlines with variable refrigerant flow heat pumps, and relocate potable and irrigation waterlines to the outside of the building. The solicitation package and its attachments will be issued on or about July 8, 2013 and will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at https://www.fbo.gov. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be made available. This procurement is competitive and is set-aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220 and the size standard is $14 million. In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) part 36.204, the estimated magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000. SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM): FAR requires that federal contractors register in the SAM database at https://www.sam.gov and enter all mandatory information into the system. Award cannot be made to a contractor that is not registered in SAM. Interested offerors are encouraged to ensure that they are registered and/or up-to-date in SAM prior to submitting your proposal. This announcement does not constitute the solicitation. All questions pertaining to this announcement must be submitted in writing via email and sent to: philip_cuevas@nps.gov. The government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation.
