- White Sands Missile Range Contracting Office, WSMR NM intends to award a Sole Source, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A) Supplies may be deemed to be available only from the original source in the case of a follow-on contract for the continued development or production of a major system or highly specialized equipment, including major components thereof, when it is likely that award to any other source would result in substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition. Cadence software in only provided by EMA. Notice of intent to award sole source to EMA Design Automation, PO Box 23325, Rochester, NY 14692. No other companies The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition 541519, with a size standard of 25.5 Million. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation package will be issued. Any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notice to the Contracting Officer by June 24, 2013.
