- QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS RFI VA730-13-I-0083 1. The number of courses and number of modules for each course are provided. However there is no indication of course duration. Can the agency provide the current instructor-led training course duration (in days or hours) for each of the nine (9) courses to be converted? Course lengths: "Administrative Services Overview (15 Modules) - 24 hours "Accounts Management Overview (19 Modules) - 40 hours "First Party Overview (14 Modules) - 24 hours "Cash Management Overview (15 Modules) - 24 hours "Insurance Verification Overview (21 Modules) - 40 hours "Facility Revenue Technician Overview (10 Modules) - 80 hours "Utilization Review Overview (15 Modules) - 24 hours "Billing Overview (18 Modules) - 40 hours "OPECC Overview (28 Modules) - 40 hours 2.The Draft Statement of Work calls for the incorporation of "existing simulations" related to each course into the curriculum flow. How many existing simulations exist and what is the current format of these simulations (i.e., paper-and-pencil exercises, online simulations, case studies)? Are these simulations currently used with the existing instructor-led courses? There are 100 simulations that need to be incorporated into the current curriculum. This requires reviewing curriculum and the corresponding sims to ensure they are 100% consistent. Sims are going to be used to test knowledge gained. There may be a need for some additional documents built around them to ensure the activity/exercise is a valuable learning tool for the students.
