- NOTICE: Sources Sought SOLICITATION #: F2FT133156A001 POSTING DATE: 19 June 2013 RESPONSE DATE: 3 July 2013, 1:00 p.m. CST NAICS Code: 334519 SB Size Standard: 500 Employees This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis (market survey). This is not a request for quote (RFQ) or a request for proposal (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The Government will not pay for any cost incurred in responding to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this Sources Sought synopsis shall be voluntary. The purpose of this sources sought synopsis is to determine interest and capability of potential qualified businesses relative to the NAICS code 334519. The Small Business size standard for this NAICS code is 500 EMP. To make an appropriate acquisition decision for this project were it to be solicited, the Government may use responses to this sources sought synopsis. Large and Small Businesses are invited to answer this market survey and provide their contact information to determine market capabilities. Hurlburt Field, FL, is conducting market research to determine the existence of potential sources to provide MFG pt #K-100 MD, Military Deluxe Dynamic Cone Penetrometer Kit and pt #MR100 Printer v2.0 used in conjunction with K-100 MD. The potential requirement will consist of the contractor providing: 1. MD Dynamic Cone Penetrometer and all included parts and materials associated as listed below: User's Manual & Disk, Upper Rod Assembly w/ 2-part Hammer, Drive Rod, 37 ¾", Drive Rod, 12", Extension Rod, 24", Tools & Lubricant, Pin w/ Clip, Vertical Scale, Vertical Scale Foot & Upper Attachment, Hardened Point, Cone Adapter, Disposable Cones, Pelican Case 2. Printer with upgraded software compatible with the MagRuler Pelican case dimensions: 8"x5"x3" Case includes USB cable NSN: 7025-01-587-9191 NOTE: Please submit electronic response indicating capability to supply the aforementioned item(s) via line card or published description (no more than 3 pages) as well as POC (name, telephone # and email address) along with contractor's CAGE, DUNS, and the physical location of your facility to the individuals listed within this notice. All work shall be performed at the contractor's facility. This request may not directly lead to a Request for Quotation/Proposal. Deadline for submission is 1:00 p.m. CST, 3 July 2013.
