- Draft PWS The US Department of State (DOS), Regional Procurement Support Office (RPSO) in Fort Lauderdale is conducting market research to identify potential US small business sources with the capability to successfully perform the services described in the attached draft PWS (turnkey NG911 system for Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic). The requirement is classified under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 541512, with a corresponding size standard of $25.5 million. This is a sources sought notice only. This notice is not a Request for Proposals (RFP) or Request for Quotations (RFQ). No contract or order will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. The Government will utilize responses to this Sources Sought Notice to determine the availability of qualified US small business firms capable of meeting the DOS requirements and to determine the appropriateness of setting-aside this acquisition for US small business concerns. Detailed information on the DOS requirements is provided via the draft PWS posted on this announcement. The purpose of the draft PWS is to provide prospective small business sources with an understanding of the complexity and magnitude of the project. As is the case with all draft documents, the attached PWS is subject to change. Interested US small business concerns capable of meeting the attached requirements are invited to submit a Capability Statement by uploading the required information directly to FebBizOpps website. The Capability Statement, not to exceed 15 pages, must include at a minimum the following information: 1. Company name, DUNS number, and POC information. 2. Small Business Status (e.g. Small, SDVOSB, WOSB, HUBZone, etc.). 3. Relevant past performance / experience with NG911 turn-key projects following NENA and APCO recommendations. 4. A description of the technical capabilities (to include key personnel) of the concern relating to the design, implementation, installation, integration, and testing for NG911 and NENA i3 systems. 5. Description of the company's experience installing and supporting (to include warranty and on-site support) similar systems in an international environment. 6. A description of your company's relationship with NG911 hardware and software providers (to include designation as an authorized reseller and/or authorized maintenance provider in the Dominican Republic). 7. Identify ISO 9001:2001, ISO 9001:2008, or similar certifications obtained by your company. General affirmations of interest will not be considered in our set-aside decision. Only Capability Statements addressing the above-mentioned requirements will be considered.
