- NAICS: 334513 Instruments and Related Products Manufacturing for Measuring, Displaying, and Controlling Industrial Process Variables Federal Supply Schedule: 66 Scientific Equipment and Services Procurement Office: United States Environmental Protection Agency, Superfund Regional Operations Division (3805R) 1200 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20004 Response Date: June 27, 2013 4:30 pm (Eastern Standard Time) U.S. Environmental Protection Agency?s Office of Superfund Regional Procurement Operations Division, seeks quotes for the following items. Quotes are being requested in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures the United States Environmental Protection Agency is seeking the following benchtop total organic carbon analyzer with the following specifications: ?Analytical Modes/Matrix: must be able to measure TOC, IC (inorganic carbon), and TC (total carbon) in drinking water, surface water, and groundwater ?Analytical Range: 4 ppb to 50 ppm TOC ?Accuracy: +/- 5% at mid-range standard ?Precision: < 1% RSD at mid-range standard ?Analytical Time: < 8 minutes per single sample measurement, with the ability to measure and calculate triplicate measurements ?Sample Introduction: integrated auto-sampler, provided by vendor, with > sixty (60) positions for 40-mL sample and standard vials, total. ?Controller: Laptop or PC, using Windows XP or newer operating system, 1 GB RAM, 500 MB HD, monitor (if PC), equipped with data acquisition software for remote control of instrumentation, including programmable flow-rates and sampling times, and data exportation of sample lists and results in XLS, CSV, or related Microsoft-compatible spreadsheet format. Two (2) available USB ports are required for printer and data archiving hardware. One (1) available LAN port is required for the transfer of data to a local laboratory intranet. Specifications greater than those listed, but needed for software operation, supersede those listed here. ?Power: 100/120 VAC (+/- 10%), 50/60 Hz ?Method Compliance: must be EPA Method 415.3 compliant ?Consumables: If technology is persulfate-UV based, the instrument must be built to allow for in-house preparation of analytical reagents and UV lamps must have a 6 month operating lifespan. ?Additional Features: must contain an on-line or in-line sparging feature for IC removal when analyzing for TOC. Accessory kits, including initial ?start-up? kits, to include applicable reagents and standards, must be provided. ?Includes installation/set-up and familiarization of all components. ?One (1) year factory warranty The quote must also include shipping FOB destination.
