Description

The item to be serviced is the M997A3 Ambulance Air Conditioning unit to include charging with refrigerant and leak testing The award of this solicitation will result in a 5 year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract. Requirements are for a guaranteed minimum of 45 units and a maximum of 1,000 units to be serviced at Rock Island Arsenal. Proposed contract action is a competitive, full and open purchase. Estimated date of issue for the solicitation is 18 June 2013. The solicitation includes prints that are Export Controlled and therefore vendors wishing to view the TDP will need and active DD 2345 on file. The solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hard copies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the Federal Business Opportunities Website (FBO) or Army Single Face to Industry Website (ASFI). CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidder's mailing list. It is therefore, incumbent upon interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of the same. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Government.
