- The contract provides for professional engineer services to conduct a digital photographic survey of a large site measurement within several internal spaces of a T-AKE class vessel, followed by the processing and conversion of those photos to create a 3-D model in AutoCAD format showing the layout of the ballast tank sounding tubes. The Contractor will be required to use a method that does not interfere with the operation of the ship, the ship's personnel, or running of machinery. Piping may not be accessible for targets without constructing scaffolding which is costly and time consuming; therefore, the contractor will be required to use a shall be of a non-contact, 3D measurement-type methodology that is capable of handling vibrations of the site. This Contract is awarded as an 8(a) sole-source under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(5). The assigned SBA Requirement Number is 0679-13-302613.
