Warren AFB, WY 82005-2860 Sources Sought Synopsis This sources sought synopsis is being published for market research purposes only, to identify potential sources capable of providing specialized privacy curtains and support equipment. This is only a Sources Sought Synopsis and is not a Request for Proposals (RFP). No solicitation is being issued at this time and this notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. Any information provided by industry to the Government as a result of this sources sought synopsis is voluntary. Responses will not be returned. No entitlement to payment, direct or indirect costs or charges to the Government will arise as a result of contractor submission of responses for the Government's use of such information. The information obtained from industry's response to this notice may be used in the development of a possible acquisition strategy and potential RFP. Description 1. Introduction. Contractor shall provide and install privacy curtains, which must be lined and fully not allow light to penetrate. Curtains should also not allow 1.2. LOCATION: F. E. Warren AFB, WY at the Wing Safety vehicle training skid car pad or other Cheyenne, Wyoming location. Classes conducted at F. E. Warren AFB, WY will be set up jointly between the 90th Missile Wing Safety Office and the Motorcycle Safety Representative. An Entry Authority List (EAL) will be accomplished by the Traffic Safety Manager for the MSF instructors to come on base to teach this course 1.3. WORK DAY: Dates and times of classes will be determined by a schedule created by the Motorcycle Safety Representative. 2. Scope of Work. Reference the attachment for complete description of work. 3. Base Access and Security Passes. The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining all necessary cards, passes, badges, decals or other items required for access to the base or areas in which the work will be performed. The Contractor will be required to apply for vehicle and individual identification media at the 90th Contracting Squadron (Bldg. 208). Upon completion or termination of the contract, or an individual's employment on the project, the Contractor will retrieve the identification media issued above and surrender it to the Security Forces, Pass and ID Section (Bldg. 290). 4. Central Contractor Registration. To be eligible for contract award or payment from any DOD activity, contractors must be registered in the DOD System for Award Management (SAM) and Wide Area Work Flow Receipt and Acceptance (WAWF-RA) websites. Information on SAM registration and annual confirmation requirements may be obtained by visiting the SAM website at http://www.sam.gov/. Information on WAWF-RA registration may be obtained by visiting the WAWF-RA website at http://wawf.eb.mil/. Contractors must also submit their representations and certifications via the SAM website. NAICS Code The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 314120 - Curtains and draperies, window, made from purchased fabrics. Responses to this synopsis will be used for market research only. The Government will not pay for any information submitted by respondents to this Sources Sought request. Contractors who believe they possess the desired expertise and experience should submit a Statement of Capability containing the above-referenced information to Hilary Swanson, 90 CONS/LGCB, 7505 Barnes Loop, Bldg. 208, F.E. Warren AFB, WY 82005 or via email to alan.ortega.2@us.af.mil. Responses must be received no later than 10:00 a.m. 10 July 2013 (Mountain Time). All documentation shall become the property of the Government. NOTE: E-mail submissions are subject to size and type restrictions (typically limited to no more than 1 Megabyte in size and only non-executable attachments such as.doc or.pdf files), as well as any other appropriate network security measures. It is the submitter's responsibility to verify the package was delivered or e-file was received and can be viewed. All responses must address each of the stated requirements. In accordance with FAR 3.6 a current Government employee is not eligible for contract award.
