The Department of Veterans Affairs NETWORK Contracting Office 15 is seeking potential vendors for the purchase of a power injector. Location: Department of Veterans Affairs St. Louis VAMC, St. Louis VAMC1 Jefferson Barracks Drive, BLDG 8 St. Louis, MO 63125-4199. Responses must be received no later than 11:00 A.M. Central Standard Time, on June 26, 2013. The following information is required: 1. Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) & Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) (This information can be obtained from your Central Contractor Registration). 2. Name of firm w/address, phone and email address of point of contact. 3. State if your company is a certified 8(a), Small Disadvantaged Business, Hub Zone Small Business, or Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. 4. Provide product brochures that demonstrate that your product can meet the requirements for this purchase. No telephone responses will be accepted. Statement of Requirements This solicitation uses a Brand Name or Equal Description of the product required. This permits prospective contractors to offer products other than those specifically referenced by brand name. All offers must work with existing equipment that has already been purchased and is currently in use at the station. This request is for Covidien Angiomat Illumena pedestal power injector to be used in the new Cath and EP labs on the 5th floor in order to perform angiography of large vessels and heart chambers. Minimal Technical Specifications 1)Fully automatic microprocessor-controlled contrast medium injector with volume, flow and time control. For all angiographic examinations in Angio and CT mode. 2)A mobile/rolling stand with electronic control unit, contrast media heating module and a connection cable (6 m) for manual release. 3)A support arm with injector head. Injector head with an ergonomically designed filling lever. 4)Integrated control console with touchscreen operation. All injection parameters are displayed on the touchscreen display of the control panel and the main parameters additionally displayed on the injector head for physician viewing. 5)Pressure limitation: Angio mode: 300 to 1200 psi in 1 psi increments. CT mode: 300 psi. 6)Flow rates for Angio-Card and Angio peripheral mode: 0.1 ml/s to 9.9 ml/s in 0.1 ml/s increments, 10 ml/s to 40 ml/s in 1.0 ml/s increments, 10 ml/min to 999 ml/min in 1.0 ml/min increments, 0.1 ml/min to 9.9 ml/min in 0.1 ml/min increments.
