- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation (W9124313T0014) is being issued as a Request for Quotation. This notice and the incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). This is a Small Business Set-Aside referencing NAICS code is 337215. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management at https://www.sam.gov, in order to be considered for award. The Government contemplates an award of a Firm Fixed Priced purchase order contract resulting from this solicitation for the following items. The Nebraska National Guard requires a Value Engineered Quote for meeting the following need. All specifications included in this synopsis/solicitation are recommendations and are meant as a guideline for meeting the requirement that the Guard has for High Density Storage Units. To assist interested parties with submitting a quote, a one-time site visit will be offered, See Note 2 below. Line Item 0001: 1 Job - High Density (HD), Heavy Duty, Industrial Storage Unit, HD Storage Unit will be located in the Nebraska Central Issue Facility and will be used for storing bulk clothing and military equipment. Unit will be on a track system with a rolling shelving system that can by moved by one person with a wheel, crank or similar device in a safe manner to person or resources. Dimensions of Area shelving will occupy: Total area is 31ft x 42ft. Maximum height of shelving cannot exceed 80 inches and must include 4 Shelves. Shelving must have an approximate 4ft aisle as part of the rolling shelving system to accommodate personnel and equipment; Capable of inserting wire and solid heavy duty shelves at various depths and lengths; Capable of inserting wide modular drawers with 200-400 pound capacity minimum of 60 quote mark wide, Capable: of adding lockable doors; Capable of post interchange with shelving and bulk rack system; Capable of supporting a minimum of 1000 pounds per linear foot of carriage; Must contain a non-grouted level track and decking substructure supporting floor decking safety features throughout Uniform coloring desired. Modular Drawers in Shelving: 2 each: Drawer dimension are a minimum 60 inches wide by 40 inches deep (horizontal) by 16 inches deep (vertical). Dividers: Solid steel dividers to be stamped from minimum 24 gauge steel. Bin Fronts: Minimum 18 gauge solid steel plates. Must have lip that prevents items from rolling off shelf. Finish/Color: For uniformity and appearance, all carriers, steel end panels (when required) and shelving shall be identical in color, where specified, as selected from manufacturers actual color charts. The bulk rack system must use the same upright as the shelving system to accommodate interchangeability and parts and system flexibility Storage System Adaptation Requirements: In the event future system changes are necessary to increase storage capacity, the shelving system must be capable of being adapted to accommodate the following: NOTE 1: The shelving system must be capable, at any time in the future, of being adapted to accept and bear the load of a deck-over mezzanine rated at 125 lbs./sq.ft. as manufactured by the original shelving manufacturer OEM requirement will assure fit, finish, structural integrity, and single source warranty or repair claims. If a built in or stand-alone shelving base Work center is integral to the shelving system, all system components and accessories must be interchangeable (i.e. shelves, drawers, dividers, doors...) by the end user. Installation to be done by a factory trained and approved installation team experienced in installation of the manufacturer's mobile storage system. The entire system must be a quote mark turn-key quote mark design. Successful offeror's will furnish labor, Materials, equipment any special tools and services required to provide complete and ready to use system. Because of unknown future building phasing, remodeling, relocations, etc, the following requirements must be met. A) Entire system must have the capability to be moved from current location to another location, including the track and deck system. B) Entire system must have the capability to accept additional shelving, drawers, track and deck if work area/ storage area is expanded and more storage is required. NOTE 2: A one-time site visit will be offered on 26 June at 10am CST. Site visit will be conducted in Lincoln, NE 68524. All parties interested in attending the site visit MUST send an email request to Jeremy Rupprecht at jeremy.m.rupprecht.mil@mail.mil No Later Than 4pm CST on 24 June and they will be included in site visit invite. An announcement will also be placed on the ASFI/FBO. Therefore, all responsible capability statements or quotations received prior to the RFQ close date will be considered. The Government will award a single purchase order contract resulting from this RFQ to the responsible offeror whose offer represents the best value in terms of technical capability and price.
