- Description
- The United States Government, represented by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Ghana Mission (USAID/Ghana) is seeking proposals from U.S. and Non-US private, for-profit and non-profit organizations to provide services that support its program entitled: EVALUATE FOR HEALTH. USAID/Ghana anticipates awarding approximately one (1) requirements contract resulting from this solicitation. The purpose of the Evaluate for Health contract is to establish a mechanism to support USAID/Ghana in strengthening M&E practices in three following core areas: 1. Evaluation Studies and Assessments: Studies will include evaluations that assess the impact of USAID's development objectives that identify lessons learned concerning which development interventions work and which do not. 2. Performance Monitoring and Evaluation Assistance: The Contractor will provide technical assistance to USAID/Ghana to improve its performance management tasks; and provide technical assistance and training to USAID/Ghana's implementing partners, especially to local and partner country government counterparts, to strengthen their performance monitoring and evaluation capacities. 3. Strengthening Local Capacity for Research Management: The Contractor will strengthen the technical capacities of at least two (2) local M&E institutions to improve their institutional capacity to plan, manage, and finalize evaluative studies. Applicants must work with Ghanaian research institutions, which are geographically situated across the country, to build their management and evaluation capacity to contribute to the global evidence base.
