- 1.NUMBER AND TITLE OF THE PROJECT: Project E8-44013-2J Replacement of Lift Pump System at Lift Station 31, Project E8-44014-2J Replacement of Lift Pump System at Lift Station 43 and Project E8-44015-2J Replacement of Lift Pump System at Lift Station #117, Caserma Carlo Ederle, Vicenza, Italy. OPTION ONE: Project E8-44005-3J Safety Improvement of Lift Stations #31, #43 and #117. 2.DESCRIPTION: Work shall include the replacement of the existing pumping systems located in the underground utility room, the electrical panel with switch disconnector in the underground utility room, the main electrical panel in the utility room above ground, replacement of all electrical lines from the electrical pumps to the junction box on the exterior wall of the pump station and installation of safety winch for the operator and for material to access the underground utility room and provide a new ventilation system to the underground utility room for all the three lift stations. 3.SOA : OS 28 CATEG. II 4.FUNDING: This project is funded. 5.PERFORMANCE SITE: The site for the work is the military installation Caserma Carlo Ederle, Vicenza, Italy 6.PROJECT AMOUNT: The project amount is between $250,000 and $500,000. This amount is informational only. The offerors are not bound to submit an offer within that range. 7.SELECTION CRITERIA: Will be established in the solicitation. 8.TYPE OF CONTRACT: Design/Build, Firm-Fixed Price 9.PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Design and construction will be completed in a 120-day period. Option one, 90-day period. 10.SITE VISIT: The site visit will take place 15 May 2013, 9:30am. Interested vendors will submit their request no later than 09 May 2013 to the following e-mail: casey.e.gordon.mil@mail.mil and karl.w.geyer.civ@mail.mil, indicating in the email Subject: PSN, W912PF-13-R-0017, Project Lift Pumps. The following information is required: name of the firm, address, phone and e-mail address. The request will include the information of the representative who will attend the site visit: First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth, Citizenship, Type of Identification (Driver's License, Carte d'identit, or Passport), and the Serial Number of the Identification. This information will be submitted to the Provost Marshal to grant offerors access to the site. Additional information addressing the site visit will be detailed within the solicitation. 11.REQUIREMENTS: In order to conduct business with the United States Government, all companies must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM).
