Description

The Cincinnati VAMC has a requirement for a Maintenance Service Agreement for equipment at the Fort Thomas Domiciliary, 1000 South Ft. Thomas Ave., Ft. Thomas, KY, 41075. This is a Combined Synopsis Solicitation, no other posting will be issued. The opportunity is available to Veteran Owned Small Business'(VOSB) and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) contractors under public law 109-461 and 38 USC 8127. This acquisition will be solicited pursuant to the Veterans' First Public Law as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside. The VOSB/SDVOSB contractor is required to perform a minimum of 51% of the work on the project. This does not include paperwork, submittals, etc. Contractor shall provide full preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS) shall include but is not be limited to all labor, equipment, tools, materials, parts, supervision, transportation and lodging. Service is required for Government-owned heating, ventilation, air conditioning, chillers, ice makers, evaporators, and various other refrigeration equipment. NAICS Code 238220/$14.0 million. This solicitation will be available only via the Federal Business Opportunities website (www.fedbizopps.gov). All Offerors MUST be registered and verified in the System for Award Management (SAM) database and VetBiz.gov Vendor Information Pages. Potential offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package, as no paper copies will be furnished. INTERESTED PARTIES ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO REGISTER TO RECEIVE NOTIFICATION OF ACTIONS INCLUDING POSTING OF THE SOLICITATION AND ANY AMENDMENTS. HOWEVER, OFFERORS ARE ADVISED TO CHECK THE SITE FREQUENTLY AS THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR OBTAINING AMENDMENTS. The solicitation will be made available after June 15, 2013. Offerors will need to click on the RFQ VA250-13-R-0477 solicitation in order to download the solicitation documents. Submit all questions to the Contracting Officer, Mary Lu Gilbert, in writing to: VA Medical Center, Network Contracting Office 10, 260 East University Ave., Cincinnati, Ohio, 45219 or via email at marylu.gilbert@va.gov by June 25,2013 12:00 Noon. All questions will be answered via an amendment to the solicitation posted through www.fedbizopps.gov NLT July 1, 2013. The submission deadline for this solicitation is July 15, 2013 by 2:00 p.m. est time. This action is 100 Percent (100%) set aside for Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns (38 U.S.C. 8127). The government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after closing.
