Description

Sole Source Justification The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Office of Procurement Operations (OPO), Information Technology Acquisition Center (ITAC), on behalf of DHS, the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Information Technology Services Office (ITSO), intends to enter into a contract on a sole source basis with InTech Defense due to only one known responsible source that can meet the requirements. This contract action is for the procurement of one (1) Radio Frequency (RF) Shield Enclosure System with Feather Frame Technology®. This requirement will be fulfilled using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b). A sole source justification is attached to this notice. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL; No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. All inquiries and concerns must be addressed to the Contract Specialist, Sohl Han at sohl.han@hq.dhs.gov. Responses to this notice must be submitted by 10 July 2013. A determination not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in a future competition.
