Description
The United States Air Force through the Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) at the Oklahoma City Logistics Center (OC-ALC) is contemplating procuring spare parts for Linear CO Compressor to support the F108 Engine. The Line Items cited below are for a commercial new Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. This requirement is anticipated to be competitive. Estimated Solicitation Issue Date & Estimated Closing/Response Date: Solicitation issue date is 10 July 2013 and estimated closing date/time is 12 August 2013 at 3:00pm CST. RFQ #: FA8122-13-Q-0017 PR#: FD2030-13-01327 Nomenclature/Noun: Compressor Liner NSN: 2840011873059PN PN: 9992M74G21 Application (Engine or Air Craft): F108 Engine AMC: 1/C History: Contract # FA8122-11-C-0004 Item Function: A compressor airflow device made from steel. Dimensions 6.4450 inches in length X 13.40 inches wide X 0.3750 inches high, weight 6.2 pounds. Description: CLIN 0001 New Manufactured Quantity: 141 each Delivery: 70 per month beginning 01 October 2013. Early is acceptable. CLIN 002 Surplus Quantity: 141 each Delivery: 141 each no later than 01 October 2013. Early is acceptable. Inspection/Acceptance: FOB Origin, WAWF Qualification Requirements: Yes, see FAR 52.209-1 award will not be delayed pending qualification. Export Control: No Mandatory Language: The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only qualified sources. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Based upon market research, the Government is using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
