Description

PLEASE NOTE: THE ARCHIVE DATE DOES NOT REFLECT SOLICITATION DUE DATE. SMALL Business Set-Aside. The FAA intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract for the Replacement of the existing Runway End Indentification Lights (REIL) lighting systems with a new Runway End Indentification Lights (REIL) systems for Runway 27L, 27R & 09L at Oakland County International Airport (PTK), Pontiac, MI. Work under this contract, which will be performed within 250 ™ of the runway centerline and will be inside the Runway Safety Area (RSA), will require the closure of the runways. The new REIL ™s will be powered from the same source as the existing REIL equipment, which is at the existing Electrical Vault Building. The contractor shall furnish all labor, material, services, insurance permits, equipment, tools, supervision and transportation in accordance with the specifications, drawings and contract provisions. INTERESTED FIRMS MUST HAVE SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED THREE (3)SIMILAR PROJECTS BOTH IN DOLLAR AMOUNT,SCOPE, AND COMPLEXITY OF WORK WITHIN THE LAST THREE YEARS. Contract performance time is 60 calendar days for this project. The estimated price range for this procurement is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Contractors must submit the following documents in order to receive the solicitation: A. letter of interest for subject project on company letterhead and include the firm's name, address, e-mail, phone number, fax number, and point of contact. B. Business Declaration Form. C. Past Expereience. Complete request must be received by by closing date of this announcement, to the Contracting Officer, Ms. Guadalupe Gonzalez at (847) 294-8310 or e-mail Guadalupe.Gonzalez@faa.gov. VERBAL REQUESTS FOR THE SIR WILL NOT BE HONORED. The contractor awarded this contract must have active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) before award can be made. Contractors can register at www.sam.gov Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and certified 8(a) contractors are highly encouraged to submit a request for this project.
