- Scope of Work The replacement of air cooled chillers. Modify existing chiller equipment pads to accommodate new chillers. Replace existing above ground piping including automatic and manual shut-off valves, pressure gauges and thermometers, pipe insulation and protective covering. Replace existing ethylene glycol (EG) with propylene glycol (PG). Modify existing Johnson Metasys control system to remove existing and incorporate new chillers. All inputs and outputs will match exactly to the existing arrangement. Remove and replace existing fused disconnect switches with new switches to match the ampacity of new chillers. Remove and replace existing circuit breakers from panel MDPE1 to match the breakers for the new chillers. Remove and replace the existing conductors to match the ampacity of the new chillers. INTERESTED FIRMS MUST ALSO PROVIDE A STATEMENT OF PAST EXPERIENCE/PERFORMANCE THAT DESCRIBES AND EVIDENCES SUCCESSFUL COMLETION OF PROJECT(S) OF SIMILAR SIZE, SCOPE AND COMPLEXITY OF WORK WITHIN THE LAST THREE (3) YEARS IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN COMPEITION FOR THIS PROJECT AND RECEIVE A SOLICITATION. The work will be performed in strict accordance with the contract specifications. Contract performance time is 21 calendar days. (Not including equipment order lead time). The estimated price range for this procurement is $750,000.00 to $1,000,000.00. The contractor awarded the contract must have active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) before award can be made. Contractors can register at www.sam.gov NAICS Code is 238220 THERE WILL BE A MANDATORY SITE VISIT DATE AND TIME WILL BE ANNOUNCED IN THE SOLICITATION. VERBAL REQUESTS FOR THE SIR WILL NOT BE HONORED. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has programs to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to $1.0 million per contract.
