- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas intends to issue solicitation RFQP011413000022 for the provision of Protestant Spiritual Leader services as a part of the Life Connections Program to be performed at the Federal Correctional Complex Petersburg, Petersburg, VA. The requirement will be for an estimated 22 sessions to be performed on-site weekly with a session being defined as one (1) hour in duration. The schedule will usually be Monday through Friday 12:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m.; Monday evening from 5:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. and Thursday mornings from 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Any variations or weekends will be mutually agreed upon by the contractor and the Bureau of Prisons. The contract will consist of a 12 month base period with four (4) additional twelve month option year periods. It is anticipated that an estimated 1,144 hourly sessions will be performed during each 12 month performance period. The contract type will be an indefinite delivery/requirement type contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 813110, with a small business size standard of $7.0 million. The solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The solicitation will be available on or about July 1, 2013 and will be distributed solely through the website at www.fbo.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments will be distributed through the website. The anticipated deadline for receipt of quotations is July 22, 2013, 2:00 P.M. Central.
