CONTACT INFORMATION IS ALSO IN THE BODY OF THIS SOLICITATION.**************** This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for ten (10) each Magma, Inc. part number EB16-BX8-X8 4U 16 slot PCIe Gen2 expansion system; x8 3m Link (14)x8, (2)x16 slots; 850 watt power supply. Please provide the Magma, Inc. part numbers listed in the attached Specifications. The products shall also meet the following characteristics: 1. The expansion system shall be able to support multiple PCI Express boards and make them transparent to the operating system without the need for any special software - plug-n-play compatibility with our real-time computer systems 2. Direct Memory Access (DMA) performance 3. The expansion system shall provide a minimum of 16 PCI Express 2.0 compatible slots. 4. 19 inch, 4U rack mount enclosure 5. Supports PCI Express Bus Specification Rev 2.0 6. 3 meter, x8 link cable with host link cards 7. 16 available expansion slots: 14, x8 PCI Express slots 8. 850 Watt Power supply The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 2005-66. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. The offeror shall state in their offer their size status for this procurement. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. Delivery to Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC), Central Receiving Building 4631, Saturn Road, MSFC, AL 35812 is required. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. Offers for the items(s) described above are due by 4:30 pm CST on July 10, 2013 to Kiera Spann at kiera.spann@nasa.gov or fax to 256-961-9604 and must include, solicitation number, FOB destination to this Center, proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment terms, warranty duration (if applicable), taxpayer identification number (TIN), identification of any special commercial terms, and be signed by an authorized company representative. Offerors may use their standard company form to submit their offers. If the end product(s) offered is other than domestic end product(s) as defined in the clause entitled 'Buy American Act -- Supplies,' the offeror shall so state and shall list the country of origin. See attached applicable Terms and Conditions. Telephone questions will not be accepted. Selection and award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. Technical acceptability will be determined by review of information submitted by the offeror which must provide a description in sufficient detail to show that the product offered meets the Government's requirement.
