- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has a requirement for water well maintenance at the Nashua National Fish Hatchery located in Nashua (Hillsborough Co.), New Hampshire. The work under this project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment required to perform chemical treatment and physical agitation to redevelop three large water supply wells (includes videotaping and pump tests on each well prior to, and post well redevelopment). The work also includes installation of new in-kind replacement pumps/motors for the three wells. This contract opportunity is a total set aside for small business concerns. The small business size standard is $33.5 million. The estimated magnitude of construction for this project is between $100,000. and $250,000. The NAICS code is 237110. Registration is required at the System for Award Management (SAM online at www.sam.gov). Lack of registration in the SAM database will make an offeror ineligible for award. All other eligible and responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Agency. A Request for Proposal (RFP) including technical specifications, drawings and evaluation criteria will be released through www.fbo.gov and www.fedconnect.net on or about July 16, 2013. No hard copies of the solicitation will be sent out by this office. Proposals are expected to be due on or about August 20, 2013. The period of performance is 120 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The anticipated contract type will be firm fixed price. Award will be made based upon Best Value to the Government in accordance with FAR Part 15 and the terms in the solicitation. Evaluation factors will be set forth in Sections L & M of the solicitation. Please check the solicitation for all required documentation to be submitted.
