- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). This is a market survey for information only, to be used for preliminary planning purposes. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. The purpose of this survey is to determine the availability of SDVOSB vendors to complete the following requirement. Requirement: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision and all other items and services necessary to remove all trees (standing, leaning, or lying down) and brush located within the designated project areas in and around Selfridge ANGB (approximately 14 Acres). Trees shall be cut so that the stumps shall be between 2 quote mark and 3 quote mark above ground level. All material (trunks, branches, and other debris generated during the removal process, as well as any and all downed, deadfalls or leaning trees and branches) is to be removed from the designated cutting areas. All material shall be removed from SANGB, and disposed of in a legal manner. Much of the acreage included in this project has been designated as wetlands. All logging work to be undertaken in the wetlands should be accomplished in a manner that will not require a wetland permit or soil erosion permit. All ground surfaces disturbed (non-wetland) by the processes necessary to perform this work, shall be restored. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with the applicable codes and/or ordinances in force at the time of performance. It is the Contractor's responsibility to insure that where EPA, DEQ or other such regulations control the removal, handling, installation or disposal of materials, they shall be strictly adhered to whether or not specifically referenced in the project documents. Contractor shall follow all Federal, State and Local regulations concerning wetland protection. The purpose of this market research and Sources Sought Notice is to survey the marketplace and gain knowledge of potential qualified interested SDVOSB sources for completing the requirement relative to North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 113310. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests. If it is determined by the 127 MSC Contracting Division to issue a solicitation, a separate Request for Proposal will be issued. All interested parties shall respond and submit statement of qualifications via email only. Verbal responses will not be accepted.
