- Description This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number VA119-13-Q-0060 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) and will be issued on July 01, 2013. No telephone requests will be accepted. It is the Offerors responsibility to ensure that the quote is received by 10:00 am on 07/15/2013. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339113, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. OFFERORS MUST STATE THEIR BUSINESS SIZE ON EACH OFFER. This action is unrestricted; small businesses, VOSB, SDVOSB, women and small disadvantaged business are encouraged to submit offers. If offeror has a FSS/GSA number, please include it on your offer. Interested persons may identify their interest and submit a quote. The Government shall consider all Quotes received by 10:00 noon Eastern Standard Time, July 15, 2013. Bariatric Patients Stretchers *The Government requires at least 60 days returning the Motorize Bariatric Patients Stretchers with defects Bariatric Patients Stretchers "Minimum litter size of 30 inches. "Minimum of 700 pound weight capacity. "Must be designed to eliminate or minimize trip hazards for the caregivers "Alarm system on stretcher that will monitor and alert staff of patient fall and flight. "Built-in bed exit alarm. "Electric head-end lift "Ability to assist and/or minimize care giver injuries during patient lift and transfer "Ability to provide leg support with the knees elevated "Independent adjustment of head and knees. "Side-rail-mounted patient satisfaction controls which allow patients to control their own comfort. "Extended side rails to provide a minimum coverage of 10 inches. "Recovery chair position that allows caregivers to place patients in an upright position during recovery and for other specific treatments. "Motorized drive system that eliminates and/or assists pushing, pulling and steering to reduce injury to clinician, caregiver or patient. "Rechargeable battery with a minimum battery life of 16 hours. "Dual articulating head rest that allows the clinician to maneuver a patients head in a multitude of positions.
