- This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request for Quotation Number is N66604-13-Q-2289. NAICS Code is 541511, standard size is $25M. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-68. NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase the following items: (1) GNAT PRO Ada cross environment to develop Ada software (including Ada 2012) for PowerPC VxWorks 6.x, P/N T25:Ada/VX6PPCWIN, (2) CodePeer native toolset for automatic code review and validation for x86 Windows (32 bits), P/N T25:CDP/X86WIN, (3) GNAT Pro Ada cross environment to develop Ada software (including Ada 2012) for PowerPC VxWorks 5.x, P/N T25Ada/VXPPCWIN, (4) GNAT Pro Ada native environment to develop Ada software (including Ada 2012) for x86 Windows (32 bits), P/N Ada/X86WIN. Period of Performance is one year. F.O.B. Destination: Naval Station Newport, RI. It is expected to place a sole source purchase order with Ada Core Technologies, Inc., 104 5th Ave 15th Floor, New York NY 10011. Ada Core Technologies, Inc. is the only known source for these items because Ada Core is the sole provider of GNAT Pro and GNAT Pro tools. All timely offers will be considered. Offers should include price and delivery terms and the following additional information: none required. This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at https://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Evaluation will be in accordance with FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation --Commercial Items. Evaluation factors are technical capability, price and past performance. Each is equally important.
