- THIS AMENDMENT IS BEING ISSUED TO EXTEND THE CLOSING DATE UNTIL UNTIL 12-AUG-2013 DUE TO AN INTERNAL ERROR. ALL OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE ORIGINAL SOLICITATION APPLY. CONTRACTOR'S ARE REQUIRED TO RESPOND TO THIS AMENDMENT,AND COMPLETE THE ORIGINAL SOLICITATION PACKAGE. Submission of proposal by electronic commerce (e-mail) is allowed.E-mailed proposals shall not be transmitted directly to the Contracting Officer. Submit e-mailed proposals to the Bid and Abstract Room at: ContractorProposalDLALandandMaritime@dla.mil. Emailed proposals cannot exceed 15 MB. NSN 1005-01-053-9254 - HOUSING, FORWARD, TURNAROUND is being bought in accordance with GDATP (05606) P/N 205F476. Based on market research this item is manufactured for military use only and is not commercial; therefore, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12 in its solicitation for this item. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item with 15 days of this notice. The total quantity required is 51 each to be shipped to (SW3210) Hill AFB, UT. 84056-5990. There is also a 50% option for up to 26 each that may or may not be used. FOB destination and inspection at destination is required. This solicitation will be available on the Internet at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp on or around its issue date of 6.24.2013. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. There are no technical drawings/bid sets available. This solicitation is not set-aside for small business. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, and past performance. The required delivery is 510 days. All offers shall be in the English language and in US dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer.
