Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is %100 small-business set aside, therefore only offers from certified small businesses servicing this requirements NAICS code will be considered for award. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The combined synopsis/ solicitation number is W91ZLK-13-T-0215. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 05-68, as of 26 June 2013. This requirement is for removal and transportation of liquid sewage sludge from the Edgewood Area of Aberdeen Proving Ground's Wastewater Treatment Plant digesters. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 562211 and the Business Size Standard is $35.5 million. The Government contemplates award of a Firm-Fixed Price contract, Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. Description of Requirement: The Aberdeen Proving Ground Water Treatment Plant has a continuous requirement to remove transport and dispose of sediment and sludge produced from the Van Bibber Water Treatment Plant located off post on Rt. 755, Edgewood, Maryland to include, removal and transportation of liquid sewage sludge from the Edgewood Area of Aberdeen Proving Ground's Wastewater Treatment Plant digesters, to a location and method of incineration approved by the State of Maryland for incineration. Estimated quantity is 243,490 gallons per year. See attached Performance Work Statement (PWS).
