- Synopsis: The U.S. Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) located at Fort Huachuca, AZ, is issuing this solicitation as an obligation on the part of ACC-APG. This notice is a Request for Proposal/Quote or Bid. This information is to be interpreted as a commitment by the Government. Participation in this effort is strictly voluntary with no cost or obligation to be incurred by the Government. This requirement is for a Contractor to provide a Wi-Fi Spectrum Analyzer and 802.11b/a/n/g packet demodulator. 1. This synopsis is issued to determine if there are interested Small Businesses capable of providing the equipment and licenses as specified by the Government. To represent the scope, size and complexity of the requirements, a DRAFT Specifications Document is posted in conjunction with this sources sought notice. This document is provided for reference, open for industry comment to include alternate solutions, and is subject to change. 2. The goal is that small businesses have the maximum practicable opportunity to participate in any future requirement. The anticipated NAICS code is 334515 Instrument Manufacturing for Measuring and Testing Electricity and Electrical Signals. 3. Each potential source shall provide their capabilities to support the requirements provided in the DRAFT Specifications Document (along with the knowledge that the Government may modify or terminate the requirement anytime during the procurement process, without any incurred costs to the Government). The Contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to any future contract award. If your firm is capable of meeting the criteria stated in the DRAFT Specifications Document, please submit a technical capability statement to include the following information: (1) Company name and mailing address, including cage code (2) Point of contact (name, telephone number, and e-mail address) (3) Small business status if any, (small disadvantaged business, woman-owned business, veteran-owned business, etc.) (4) Indicate if your company primarily does business in the commercial or Government sector (5) Indicate which NAICS code(s) your company usually performs under Government contracts (6) Indicate if your company is currently registered in SAM (7) A brief summary of the company's capabilities in supporting the requirements provided below. The device should be both a Wi-Fi spectrum analyzer and 802.11b/a/n/g packet demodulator. The calibrated receiver measures the entire 2.0 - 5.9 GHz RF spectrum and features user selectable power triggers, 3 pairs of markers, video smoothing, waveform averaging, 1 live trace and up to 4 peak hold waveform traces with peak hold/search. This allows field engineers to differentiate between unknown RF interference and legitimate Wi-Fi network devices. Electronic submission is the preferred method of receipt. However, the statements may be mailed to the address listed below as long as they are received by the due date. 4.
