- Description
- The U.S. Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG)- Belvoir intends to award a sole source modification to contract W909MY-12-C-0027 under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source to Non-Intrusive Inspection Technology Inc. (NIITEK); 23031 Ladbrook Drive, Dulles, VA 20166. The modification will extend the period of performance of the existing contract from 25 July 2013 to 23 September 2013. The modification is required to provide Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) training support and logistical data. It has been determined that NIITEK is the Only Responsible Source and no other source can satisfy the Government's requirements for this effort. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals. However, all responsible sources may identify their interest, in writing, to the Government point of contact. Responses to this notice shall be received no later than 4:00 PM, Eastern Daylight Time (EDT), 12 July 2013. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation of offers. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract modification based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
