Description
The Bureau of Land Management has a requirement to repair the Howery Island Trail. The work includes all clearing, grubbing, earthwork, placement of aggregate, and concrete work to repair approximately 820 feet of accessibility trail in accordance with the Bureau of Land Management and Architectural Barriers Act standards for accessibility trails. The project location is at Howrey Island Recreation Area located six miles southwest of Hysham along the Yellowstone River and Montana State Highway 311. The period of performance is 46 days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Work will start on/about the end of August/beginning of September 2013. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. A Site Tour will take place and information will be posted in the solicitation. The solicitation will be posted on/about July 22, 2013. No hard copies of the solicitation will be sent out by this office and will be available at www.fedconnect.net. Response date for the quotes will be on/about August 22, 2013. Please check the solicitation for all required documentation to be submitted. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 238990. This is a total set aside for Small Business Concerns. The small business size standard is $33.5 million. A 100% payment protection will be required for contracts greater than $30,000. Payment protection will be due upon notification of our intent to make award. Payment protection can be submitted by an Irrevocable Letter of Credit, Certificate of Deposit, or Payment Bond. Prospective contractors must be registered System Award Management (SAM) prior to award. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make an offeror ineligible for award.
