- PROGRAM EXECUTIVE OFFICE FOR SIMULATION, TRAINING AND INSTRUMENTATION (PEO STRI) INDUSTRY FORUM PEO STRI will be hosting an industry day with regards to the recompetition of the Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) contract, W900KK-09-D-0006. The intent of this industry day is to continue PEO STRI's on-going market research efforts by providing additional information to companies interested in proposing as a prime or subcontractor for this effort, and gaining further insight into industry capabilities. This notice also serves to seek industry comments and questions as they relate to the following draft documents: Performance Work Statement (PWS), Labor Categories list, Labor Category Definitions, Government Labor Category Equivalent spreadsheet, Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP), Organizational Conflict of Interest clause. Draft documents are still being completed and are anticipated to be posted to this notice no later than July 19, 2013. The industry day is scheduled to provide (1) an overview of the anticipated acquisition strategy (2) and general information from the Project Management and Executive Offices on their needs and potential future SETA support requirements. INDUSTRY DAY The industry day is scheduled from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM EDT, on August 6, 2013, in Partnership III Room 321 A & B. Due to limited parking in the Partnership II/III parking lot, all visitors MUST park in the large parking lot on the corner of Science Drive and Technology Parkway. The Partnership II/III parking lot is authorized parking for occupants only. Also, DO NOT PARK IN THE AT&T PARKING LOT AS YOUR CAR WILL BE SUBJECT TO BEING TOWED. For specific information on where to park, please review the map attached to this posting for detailed directions. All potential attendees are requested to send an e-mail to Contract Specialist, Mr. Mike Yilmaz, at mike.yilmaz@us.army.mil containing the following information: company name, attendee names, telephone number, and email address. A list of attendees will be posted to this special notice after the event. QUESTIONS Comments and questions as they relate to the draft documents or other pertinent areas of this recompetition are required to be submitted in writing to Mr. Yilmaz at the above email address using the attached form on or before 12:00 PM EDT, July 26, 2013. Please ensure that a point of contact is included in case there is a need to clarify the questions. The subject line for all correspondence shall include the name of the Company and include 2014 SETA Recompete. The intent is to provide responses to submitted questions during the Q&A session at industry day. ONE ON ONE SESSIONS PEO STRI has set aside 20-minute blocks of time for one-on-one sessions from August 7-8, 2013, and limited attendance to no more than three representatives per company. The intent of the one-on-one sessions is to provide a forum for industry to identify their past experience and provide information regarding current efforts similar to the SETA requirement. The one-on-one sessions will be scheduled on a first come first serve basis and meeting location will be provided once the session is booked. Coordinate all one-on-one session requests with Ms. Cathy Beauvais, via e-mail, at cathy.beauvais@us.army.mil. This notice is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for information solicited.
