- The U.S. Army Contracting Command- Redstone, Air and Missile Defense Directorate, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama intends to award, on a sole source basis in accordance with 10 USC 2304 (c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, a contract to DIMPLEX THERMAL SOLUTIONS, INC. DIMPLEX THERMAL SOLUTIONS, INC. is the original equipment manufacturer, and they own the technical documentation on these units, have provided them before and have the requisite labor, skills, tools and infrastructure required to both produce and repair these units. This is a military unique item to the LPWS Defense System and due to the urgency of this requirement, warfighters lives cannot be put at risk. This is not a Request for Competitive Proposals. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If you feel your firm possesses the ability to provide these supplies, then you must response by demonstrating your firm's technical capability to meet the requirement. If no affirmative written response is received, the supplies will be awarded without further notice. Detailed capabilities must be submitted to the email address provided below no later than Monday, 8 July 2013, 3 p.m. EST time.
