- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is DOL134RQ20132 and it is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-66. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 423210, Furniture Merchant Wholesalers. This requirement is a total small business set aside with a small business size standard of 100 employees. Only qualified Offerors will be considered. Contract line items are outlined within the attached document labeled DOL134RQ20132.rtf. Period of Performance: The entire job is projected to take approximately 30 days. Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with your quote or be fully registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Quotes must be received by Mindy Smith, Contract Specialist, no later than 4:30 PM (EST) on July 8, 2013. Quotes will be accepted by facsimile at (304) 256-3332 or e-mail at smith.mindy@dol.gov. Electronic quotes must be submitted in a format compatible with Microsoft Office 2007 or Adobe. Quotes must be valid for a period of 45 days and include enough information for the Government to make a determination that the Contractor can responsibly deliver the required services. All questions on this requirement must be submitted in writing via e-mail to the Contract Specialist by June 24, 2013 at 1:00 PM (EST). Any questions for which answers can be provided may be conveyed to prospective Offerors by amendment to this RFP on or around June 26, 2013, without reference as to the originating source.
