- In accordance with FAR 5.201, this serves as a notice prior to the issuance of a solicitation. The purpose of this special notice is to inform industry of OCC's intent to issue a solicitation for a Learning Content Management System. The OCC's Continuing Education unit (CE) has the mission to ensure that the OCC's workforce has the right tools and technology for training and on-the-job performance support. To support this mission, CE needs to implement a Learning Content Management System (LCMS) to provide education and learning content developers with the capability to: 1. Implement content-centric learning strategies that can support multiple methods for gathering, organizing, and delivering content 2. Leverage content for multiple purposes 3. Operationalize content for mission critical purposes The LCMS will become the foundation for a shared training development environment that provides productivity efficiencies and cost savings in the development and life cycle management of training programs and performance support materials for the OCC.
