Description

This is a Special Notice for Informational Purposes Only IAW Far Part 5.205(c). The VA VISN 2 Upstate New York Healthcare system is issuing a Special Notice to notify all interested parties of a draft solicitation (SOW) for enterprise 3D visualization software. The VA requires a perpetual, enterprise wide (VISN 2) commercially available, off the shelf (COTS) software license, associated server hardware, installation, implementation, training, software maintenance and ongoing support services. The specific type of software required is enterprise level (multiple networked locations, dozens of concurrent users) 3D visualization software used for computation of three-dimensional images from MRI, CT, radiology, and other medical imaging scan data. Currently, the current PACS system is Philips but a separate competitive acquisition for the PACS is ongoing. Therefore, please consider any compatibility issues with various PACS systems while reviewing this draft Statement of Work. This Special Notice is also intended to notify potential vendors that a formal solicitation will be posted on FBO in the coming days. An oral presentation is scheduled for the following: Buffalo VA Medical Center 3495 Bailey Avenue Buffalo, NY 14215 Wednesday July 24th, 2013 @730 am. The Contracting Officer is Allan Preston and can be reached at (585)297-1469. Interested firms that can meet the needs of the government and are interested in attending the oral presentation must send their information by email to allan.preston@va.gov no later than 3:00PM Eastern Standard Time, July 15th, 2013.
