Description
SCOPE OF WORK: PSU 309 is requesting that unit floors be repaired and resurfaced to better accomodate vehicle traffice, boat and equipment mainetneance, and floor durability. Currently unit floor upkeep cannot properly be maintained due to the work performaed on a day to day basis. I additional repair and resurfacing of unit floors (20,732q. ft) will allow for proper draingage of wter for certain indorr maintenance and upkeep of unit equipment. The following work will ensure that unit floors are able to withstand the various jobs we do with minimal damage and quick efficient upkeep. DESCRIPTION OF SUPPLIES TO BE PURCHASED: Etching cleaner, epoxy primer and supreme urethane. All supplies need to be suitable to cover approximately 21,000 sq ft. WORK HOURS; The contract shall perform all site work during the normal operation hours (0800-1500) Mon-Fri except during federal holidays. Any deviation from normal working hours will be discussed with MK1 Merritt and agreed upon by all parties concerned. CLEAN UP OF WORK AREA: The contractor shall remove and properly dispose of all trash and debris pertaining to the contract work from the limits of government property, as well as adjacent affected areas. Disposal of Hazmat shall be in accordance with federal, state and local regulations. ACCEPTANCE OF WORK: Prior to the acceptance of work by the Coast Guard the contractor shall arrange through MK1 Merritt a review of work completed to ensure work satisfaction as well as proper clean up.
