Description

This is a notification of the Government ™s intent to award a Purchase Order on a sole source basis with Global Technologies Group, Inc. (GTGI), to update the servers and software of an existing Global Digital Asset Management System (GDAMS). This system is essential to the process, production and release of imagery to the Navy ™s internal and external customers and is a central mission function. GTGI designed, technically integrated, installed and maintains this system for the Department of the Navy. To maintain system integrity, all items and support must be from a single source. Furthermore, awarding to another contractor would void the maintenance warranty for the system. The associated FSC code is 7030 and the associated NAICS code is 423990. The estimated award date for this requirement is 25 July 2013 with a 12 month period of performance anticipated to start on 15 September 2013. The solicitation for this requirement will be issued under N00189-13-F-2145. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
