- Purpose To Provide new Fort Leavenworth personnel detailed tornado information via a pocket guide. The pocket guide will be tailored with information specific to Fort Leavenworth Timeline USAG Leavenworth needs the product no later than 10 weeks after a confirmed contract has been awarded. Tasks The contractor shall develop 2,500 Tornado Pocket Guides that will be able to be tailored with the following information: - 30-50 flip pages - Customized POC information on Front Cover - Detailed information defining a tornado and the variant levels of a tornado. What is a tornado watch/warning. - Map of Fort Leavenworth identifying tornado shelters and siren locations. - Important Telephone numbers for Fort Leavenworth - information on how to build an emergency kit (what items need to be in it). How to take care of special needs. - information on developing an emergency plan for families, and pets - How/where to seek shelter if you cannot get to a public shelter. - What do the tornado sirens mean if sounded. - What to do after the storm. (Who to contact for damaged goods claims..etc). Specific information to be contained may be supplied.
